You will only normally find champagne available in Quarter, half bottles, bottles and magnums. The other bottles are very rarely used. They would only normally be used for a very special occasion. They are usually used for show or for events where the bottle will be receiving a lot of attention. The larger the bottle the higher the level of prestige is normally seen as. You may choose to have a larger bottle in the middle of the table with several smaller bottles around it at a special event such as a wedding.

Many wine merchants will not stock anything larger than a Magnum, however they may be able to order it in as a special order for you. You are usually able to order hampers of Champagne such as one Nebuchadnezzar bottle, 5 Magnum bottles and 20 normal bottles, all of the same champagne. This is great for creating a feature of the Champagne.
